I was born and raised in southern California. I have been part of the Lakeside Mathematics Department since the school’s inaugural year.  Prior to joining the Lancer staff, I taught a few years at Temescal Canyon High School.  I graduated from the University of California San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics.  I hold  a Masters of Education from Walden University in Educational Technology.  I also proudly served 5 years as a Marine Corps Officer prior to teaching.  I have always had a passion for mathematics and my goal is to inspire future scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.  This is my 20th year of teaching mathematics and I am looking forward to helping you progress as a student.
